GTL tracking works by the tracking number, or resi, of a GoTo Logistics shipment. GoTo Logistics (GTL) is an Indonesian logistics company in the GoTo group and one of the delivery options on Tokopedia. It arranges the pickup and delivery of online orders within cities, between cities and between islands, using its own fleet and partner couriers.

How to track a GTL shipment

1. Find the tracking number. Buyers see it in the order details on the marketplace, usually Tokopedia, once the seller has arranged shipping. If it is missing, ask the seller.
2. Copy the number exactly as shown, without spaces.
3. Enter it in the tracking field at the top of this page and start the search.
4. Review the latest status and the list of events: each line shows what happened to the parcel and when.

GTL tracking number

The GTL tracking number is the resi shown with the order. It is not the same as the order or invoice number of the purchase, which identifies the sale rather than the shipment. Copy the resi instead of retyping it: a missing or extra character returns no result.

A GTL shipment can start at the seller's own address or at a GTL fulfilment warehouse, where some sellers keep their stock. Because of this, the first events of two parcels from different shops may look different.

How long does GTL delivery take?

Delivery time depends on the service chosen at checkout and on the route. GTL offers several service levels, from instant and same-day delivery within a city to next-day, regular, economy and cargo services for longer distances. A parcel travelling between islands passes through more hubs than one delivered within the same city, and every transfer between hubs or couriers adds handling time.

Weekends, public holidays and large sale campaigns can slow down pickup and delivery. For a specific parcel, the delivery estimate shown with the order is the best guide.

GTL tracking not updating: what to do

• Check that the number matches the one in the order details exactly.
• If the seller has only just arranged shipping, wait for the pickup: the history grows as couriers scan the parcel.
• On routes between islands, allow for longer gaps between events while the parcel travels from hub to hub.
• If the parcel shows as delivered but has not arrived, check with neighbours or building staff before reporting it.

GTL arranges the delivery and assigns a courier, either from its own fleet or from a partner courier company. The courier who picks up a parcel is not always the one who delivers it.
