The National Postal Service is the Russian market leader in the provision of postal services. In the Russian NPS, postal items can be tracked by identifier using the track.global service.
The NPS has been operating since 2007. Initially it was a small company in Siberia, but later it managed to grow to nationwide proportions by creating a whole network of offices across the country. The company has over 50 partners, including 8 franchisees, over 800 branches, and 2500+ customers. The service specialises in the delivery of postal items - ordinary and registered letters, including with notice - to home addresses and offices.
Even those customers who are confident in the quality of NPS work, want to know at what stage of the journey their parcel is on. This allows you to make sure that the parcel will indeed arrive soon, as well as to guess the likely date of its arrival at its destination. Track.global service will help you to track NPS shipments. The main advantages of our service are the possibility of its free use, safety and reliability (data will not be stolen by third parties), as well as simplicity and convenience.
It is customary to use an identification number or code to track postal items of the NPS RF. It is a unique combination that helps to track the movement of the parcel across the country.
According to the world's universal postal service, the identification number or code is used to track postal items.
According to worldwide regulations, this number includes 2 Latin letters, 9 digits and 2 more letters in Latin. All of them have their own meanings. Thus, the first of them acts as an indicator of the type of dispatch, the second - to indicate the method of dispatch: by road, railway, air, water. As for the two letters displayed at the very end, they indicate the country in which the sender is located.
As for the Russian postal identifier (RPO) itself, there are 14 numbers in its composition. This mark is located in the receipt, which is issued in the course of receiving the dispatch. It must be entered in the field intended for tracking, without using spaces and brackets. The general procedure for obtaining information about the current status of the parcel is as follows:
No additional data will be required for tracking - no full name, no phone number, no email address and no actual residence address.
Please note that through track.global you can track all registered shipments, including international ones, e.g. from Singapore, USA or China, any transport company (including SDEK, DPD, Yanwen) in real time - the service is available 24/7. All orders from online marketplaces such as Ozon, Wildberries, AliExpress are under the control of our search robot - no parcel will be left without attention.
Since the NPS service, including the Baikal branch, operates exclusively on the territory of the Russian Federation, letters do not go through customs procedures, accordingly - they arrive to their addressees much faster compared to international parcels. The average delivery time depends on the distance between points and the type of service. Registered letters for distances of up to 500 kilometres arrive in less than a week. If the distance is greater, the time is almost 2 weeks. Ordinary letters, on average, go up to 1 month.
Storage of correspondence in communication facilities takes place for 30 calendar days. If we are talking about the dispatches of judicial and administrative nature, they are in the offices for 7 days, while not taking into account non-working days - weekends and holidays. On the basis of an agreement drawn up with the sender, these time limits can be shifted.
Receipt of the letter is only available to persons who fulfil several criteria:
Only an adult citizen who has presented an identity card may receive the consignment. If there is no compliance with these requirements, the sender will not be able to send the letter, respectively, the recipient will not be able to receive it.
It is necessary to write to the NPS RF service online, asking your question in the feedback chat. You can also contact the email address listed on the website. Or go in person to the nearest branch, taking with you a passport and a cheque, on which the identification code is displayed. It is not difficult to call the duty phone number, but practice shows that this method involves a long wait for an answer or a busy line. Therefore, the most reliable way is to go to the post office with the documents.
